Knowledge and technology transfer for sustainable industry, innovation and advancement

Practical & Sustainable Solutions

Our Foundation addresses both short and long-term socio-economic needs by responding to both immediate crises and providing direct relief, and strategically seeking out and tackling the root causes of systemic socio-economic issues facing marginalized and under-privileged individuals and communities.

We make use of both new and/or existing innovative technology and knowledge dissemination to achieve our goals.

Our Areas of Focus

Our focus areas have been targeted because of their potential to deliver substantial  social-economic and environmental impact.

Food Security

Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. Food security is a multi-dimensional phenomenon and effective action to address food crises in all forms requires understanding of its various drivers. We aim to provide sustainable solutions to increase access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.

Medical & Vet Care

Lifesaving, essential  medicines and vaccines are often too expensive and in short supply for the world's poor. We aim to improve supply chains so that medicines get into the hands of those most in need.  We want to ensure that medicines, vaccines and other appropriate, quality health products are delivered safely, reliably and cost-effectively on a sustainable basis.

Clean Water & Sanitation

We aim to provide access to basic amenities and infrastructure to those with the fewest resources  to ensure that more people, especially children and young people survive and thrive.

Knowledge Access & Education

Millions of people lack the most basic education, which includes literacy, baseline mathematical understanding, and general life skills. We believe that ensuring a quality basic education equitably is the best hope for long-term sustainable development and improved health, human rights and gender equity. Poverty and disempowerment go hand in hand. We believe that by giving people the right tools, information, resources and opportunities, we can help them lift themselves up and out of poverty. Our focus on empowerment of the poor is imperative for economic independence and sustainable advancement.

Sustainable Energy Access

Energy is a critical enabler that is crucial to human well-being and and to a society's development. Access to modern energy is essential for the provision of clean water, sanitation and healthcare and for the provision of reliable and efficient lighting, heating, cooking, mechanical power, transport and telecommunications services. We aim to increase access of sustainable energy sources to the poor to help extend their days by providing extra hours to study and work.

Remediation & Conservation

We support responsible interaction with the environment to avoid depletion or degradation of natural resources and allow for long-term environmental quality. The practice of environmental sustainability helps to ensure that the needs of today's population are met without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. We believe in the practice of protecting wild plant and animal species and their habitats. The goal of wildlife conservation is to ensure that nature will be around for future generations to enjoy and also to recognize the importance of wildlife and wilderness for humans and all other species alike.

Our Approach

We work with partners in the public and private sectors in efforts to help vulnerable people adapt to changes to the global socio-economic advancement and the environment. We use both short and long term solution-focused, strength-based approaches and strategies to achieve our goals. This combination of perspectives and strategies demands different ways of looking at individuals, families and communities and draws on the humanistic approach that emphasizes on the belief in the dignity and worth of each individual and the corresponding belief in individual and collective strength and potential of individuals and communities. In short, our approach shifts the emphasis of the intervention from the problems to the solutions and what can be done to enhance self-sufficiency and sustainable advancement. It is a model that embodies a holistic respect for the dignity and uniqueness of individuals and communities, recognizing their way to experience and construct their social realities.

Additionally, overlapping short and long term strategies are equally essential in alleviating issues.  Permanent solutions to socio-economic problems can only come from strategic, large scale, collaborative efforts, but the importance of immediate need-based giving during times of crisis to address urgent needs can’t be dismissed.

Our operations span various modes of financing, a wide spectrum of strategic areas, and the different facets of  interventions.

All our projects exist as a nexus of interconnected platforms, programs and projects that seek to engage across public and private sectors to unlock high impact and paradigm shifting investments.
